Background
ABYSSOS takes place in a fictional, sci-fi/cyberpunk world, where HAUPTs (big, monolithic, supercomputer-like machines) basically control all aspects of human civilization.
The main character is KLEA TARRIS, a young woman in her mid-twenties, and a very talented Capture Engineer (something akin to a hacker/cyber investigator) and RAUM drifter (a person that knows a lot about the cyberspace). She’s of eastern Asian descent, has a small build and a thin figure. She is a double amputee who has lost her right arm and left leg because of medical complications. Due to her disability and medical condition she’s encased in a device called an ALEMBIK, a big cocoon-like structure that provides her with life support and the necessary neurological network connections to do her job. Before being placed in the ALEMBIK, her body’s been biologically and cybernetically modified, which is why she’s part human, part machine.

Design Guidelines
Because the project is at an early stage, I’m still figuring out which specific artistic look and style I’d like to go, so there are very few restrictions or rules. One important thing I’d like to say here: While it has a lot of anime inspirations, it should not look like anime, but rather resemble the style of art that you mainly draw in.
